D-Day
Today we commemorate the landing of the Allied forces on the beach of Normandy France that started the Battle of Normandy commencing the Western Allied effort to liberate mainland Europe.
National Geographic is featuring an episode about the event.
As to why this interests me, I just felt that during my past life I was in that eventful beach but not sure if Im German or Allied.
