    Hi there,

I stumbled upon your profile and thought you might find this interesting.

We are a team of fifteen designers/developers building rich web
applications – for ourselves and for clients. Our educational
backgrounds include Harvard, Stanford, IIT, etc. while our
professional backgrounds include IDEO, McKinsey, and a host of
Internet companies. Proprietary applications we have developed
include http://www.trippert.com (built on cakephp). Trippert uses a
proprietary blog/wiki engine which we are going to platformize and
apply to additional communities beyond travel – e.g., classic cars,
etc. Other apps. include http://www.gophernow.com and a couple of FBook
applications like Holiday Gifts(375,000 users and Bobblers just launched).

In addition to our own applications, we are working on client projects
as well. We are specifically taking on projects relating to
user-generated content, community sites, widgets, and virtual goods
(e.g., avatars, etc.). Our clients include both start-ups and
    established media companies.

Our operating model is to create small studios with highly talented
developers all over the world. The combination of high talent and
cutting edge technologies ensures that every member of the team can
both work directly with clients and contribute effectively to our
    internal applications as well.

The way we build the studios is to hire an initial person in a
geography in which we are interested – e.g., Argentina . We work with
them for a few months to make sure that our culture is compatible and
that they gain experience and familiarity with our methods and
processes. Then we start hiring around them locally, again at that
    high talent level.

We’ve used this strategy successfully in Bangladesh, Pakistan and
China and now expanding in Argentina. The technologies we are focused on
include cakePHP, flash, flex and emerging technologies such as Silverlight.

Anyway, hopefully that gives you a sense of what we’re about.

Currently, we are looking for a Flash/Flex expert as well as a Php expert.
So, I was curious if you or your friends would be interested in such an opportunity.

    Looking forward to your reply.
    Trippert
