Meeting with Joomla’s Johan Janssens
Johan Janssens , Joomla Lead Developer, is in Manila to hold sessions related to using Open Source in eGovernance in Shangrila Edsa March 7-8 and a technical session at UP Diliman on March 12. It was such a delight to meet the person behind the codes.
I also met one of the core and lead maintenance developer of Joomla, Rey Gigataras, who himself is a Filipino. Being with Rey I truly could say I was proud to be Pinoy.
Above all I also met all the Pinoy Joomla fanatics around the country which I came to know only through a forum at forum.joomla.org. We got a new website for pinoy based joomla aficionados at http://www.joomla.org.ph
Long live Joomla !
